Michael Jackson Was One of 10 Children — Meet the Brothers and Sisters Who Shared His Remarkable Journey

Long before Michael Jackson became the King of Pop, he was part of one of the most famous musical families in history.

Joseph and Katherine Jackson had 10 children together, although Marlon’s twin brother, Brandon, died shortly after birth. Michael grew up alongside eight surviving siblings: Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet.

Several would become famous themselves.

Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon performed alongside Michael in the original Jackson 5, producing unforgettable hits like I Want You BackABC and I’ll Be There.

Randy later joined his brothers when they performed as The Jacksons, while sisters Rebbie and La Toya pursued their own music careers.

And then there was the youngest sibling, Janet Jackson, who became a global superstar in her own right.

Sadly, Michael died in 2009, and Tito passed away in 2024.

But behind the records, performances and worldwide fame was something fans sometimes forget:

Before Michael Jackson belonged to the world, he was simply one of the Jackson kids growing up together in Gary, Indiana.
