Prince Harry reportedly still expects an apology from the royal family, according to a pal, despite relations between the duke and the king appearing to thaw recently.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex, 41, moved back to the UK with his family last week. It marks the first time he\u2019s lived in the UK since 2020.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry \u2018expects apology\u2019 from royal family<\/h2>\n

Speaking to the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>, a pal of the prince\u2019s has claimed that he still expects an apology. They also claimed that the record \u2018has not changed\u2019 in his years in the US.<\/p>\n

In fact, the duke has returned to the UK \u201cjust as angry\u201d as when he left six years ago.<\/p>\n

During his time in the US, Harry and Meghan sat down for their now-infamous Oprah Winfrey interview, released a Netflix documentary about quitting life as working royals, and the duke released a tell-all book, Spare.<\/p>\n

A source claimed: \u201cFriends who caught up with Harry were expecting to hear noises of contrition and humility. Instead, there will be no imminent mea culpa from Harry by the sounds of things. Far from it, in fact. He is still in that Oprah mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source then continued, claiming: \u201cThey were agog to hear he still feels angry with members of the Royal Family, is still frustrated by the \u2018men in grey suits\u2019 who surround his father, and still expects an apology.\u201d<\/p>\n

They then added: \u201cFriends who have spoken to him since he returned to the UK were surprised to discover that the record has not changed one bit since 2020 and Megxit. It\u2019s shocking and quite sad.\u2019<\/p>\n

This reported attitude echoes what Harry said in an interview in 2023 when he said: \u2018What I\u2019d really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife.\u201d
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The source added that Harry won\u2019t be issuing a public apology and has \u201cwhipped himself up all over again\u201d. They then added that Diana\u2019s legacy is a big part of this attitude.<\/p>\n

Next year will mark 30 years since her death \u2013 something the duke is painfully aware of.<\/p>\n

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, a royal expert has predicted that\u00a0Harry and estranged brother Prince William could \u201creunite\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on stage next year, in an event to mark three decades since Princess Diana\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 30th anniversary is going to be quite significant, I think. The ownership of the Diana legacy is something I think Harry has been really pursuing; he\u2019s been to Angola, he\u2019s done more stuff in landmines as well,\u201d Robert Jobson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s going to be a moment where there has to be some form of arrangement for the 30th anniversary of Diana\u2019s death. How can they not be together?\u201d he then continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have to be on the same stage. I think that we\u2019re going to see more of Harry trying to take over the ownership of Diana\u2019s legacy, which is bound to irritate his brother.\u201d<\/p>\n
