As confirmed by Deadline, This Is Us star Susan Kelechi Watson has been set for a recurring role in High Potential season 2. The talented actress will make her debut on the ABC procedural on Tuesday, Jan. 27 in season 2 episode 11, which has been titled \u201cNPC.\u201d<\/p>\n
The episode\u2019s synopsis teases Watson\u2019s character and her reconnection with Karadec: \u201cWhen a former esports champion is mysteriously murdered, both his gaming rival and a sushi chef are under suspicion. Time spent with Elliot unexpectedly provides Morgan with insights on the case. Karadec reconnects with a woman from his past.\u201d<\/p>\n

High Potential\u2019s showrunner Todd Harthan previously teased that season 2 has \u201csome of our biggest and most exciting guest stars\u201d popping up in the second half of the season. Watson definitely fits the bill as an exciting guest star, especially if she\u2019s playing who fans might be expecting her to play. If the mystery woman has a connection to Karadec, she could someone we\u2019ve been waiting to meet.<\/p>\n

Karadec has mentioned Lucia, his ex-fianc\u00e9e, in previous episodes and even revealed that she left him because he was too invested in his job.
