You guys were copycats,&#8221; the host, 60, teased. &#8220;You had Miss Beadle on before Miss Beadle was on<em>\u00a0Little House<\/em>. You guys were there first, but I think you might have experienced this as well. People think it&#8217;s at the same time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\">The actor noted the confusion was &#8220;weird, because you guys were depression. We were 1870s. They&#8217;ll come up and \u2014 this one always touches my heart, when they say, &#8216;So sorry the father died,&#8217; &#8221; she shared.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_19-0\">&#8220;This was before\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/the-waltons-michael-learned-just-loved-costar-ralph-waite-and-knows-he-loved-me-11753753\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">Ralph Waite<\/a>, our TV father, died. Of course, poor\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/michael-landon-little-house-line-was-mentioned-at-his-funeral-11744645\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\">Michael Landon<\/a>\u00a0had passed away way too young. And so I&#8217;d have to go, &#8216;No, sorry. Fortunately, our father is still living.&#8217; But constantly, [people would say] &#8216;Oh, you&#8217;re on\u00a0<em>Little House<\/em>?&#8217; It&#8217;s like, &#8216;No,\u00a0<em>The Waltons<\/em>.&#8217; &#8220;<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_21-0\">Labyorteaux agreed, noting, &#8220;When I talk with [the]\u00a0<em>Little House<\/em>\u00a0cast, they say the same thing, that people will say\u00a0<em>The Waltons<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_23-0\">&#8220;It&#8217;s absolutely that whole example where people get confused&#8230; I get it, both big family shows at that time, lots of kitchens, lots of eating around a big table.
