Willadeene also became an author and documented memories of the Parton family.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"13vzglp\" data-start=\"1224\" data-end=\"1266\">The family also endured painful losses<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1268\" data-end=\"1400\">Dolly\u2019s younger brother\u00a0<strong data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1354\">Larry Gerald Parton died only days after his birth in 1955<\/strong>, a loss Dolly remembered throughout her life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1571\">In later years, the family said goodbye to several more siblings.
