When Julia Roberts walked onto the set of\u00a0Steel Magnolias<\/em>, she was still a young actress on the edge of becoming one of Hollywood\u2019s biggest stars.<\/p>\n

Dolly Parton was already Dolly \u2014 famous, successful and instantly recognizable.<\/p>\n

The movie was shot in the intense Louisiana heat, with temperatures reportedly approaching 100 degrees.
